Welcome to the 2024 Texas Private & Parochial School Chess Championships! This USCF-Rated Tournament is for students in grades K-12. Other details are below:

• Date: May 18, 2024

• Time: 1st round begins at 9:00 am

• Location: Corpus Christi Catholic School (4005 Cheena Drive, Houston, Texas 77025)

• Who: Students in grades K-12 who attend private, parochial, or home-schools

• Sections: Elementary, middle, and high school sections

• System: 5 Rounds Swiss System

• Game: 25 min. Delay 5 sec.

• Lunch and refreshments will be sold throughout the tournament. Vegetarian and nut-free options will be available.

• USCF membership is required. If your student is not yet a member of the United States Chess Federation (USCF), you can visit http://chess.jliptrap.us/hgroup.htm to become a member.
